Harapan had applied to TED Worldwide in the category 'Purely Mechanics'. By winding a music box inside the teddy's body he turns his head and the melody "......" is played, let me be your teddybear" !
Long, densely curled mohair and blue eyes as well as a blue embroidered nose convinced the international jury, so that Harapan was elected winner of the TED Worldwide.
